So, we headed to the bus station and onto the airport where we waited for another bus to take us to Exit Fesitval in Novi Sad, Serbia.
We met a guy from L.A., who currently lives in Portugal named Frank (we call him Frankie). He’ll be important later.
The bus ride was 6-7 hours long, including the stop at the border of Croatia and Serbia (NEW PASSPORT STAMP!) There were tons of obnoxious drunk Brits on our bus that made for an “entertaining” ride.
After finally getting to the campground (there was a huge detour where we ended up in the middle of nowhere), we took a taxi into town to meet Forrest’s friend Mario.
After eating “hamburgers,” we headed to a little bar to watch the Germany vs. Spain game [which Spain obviously won].
We got back to the campground and set up the tent that Mario let us borrow…in complete darkness. We were successful, though. It was pretty difficult to sleep because it was FREEZING outside, but we managed.
