So Day 2 was SOOOOOOOOOO much better. We decided to go to Neuschwanstein, the castle that the Disney Castle is modeled after. Little did we know, the surrounding area was GORGEOUS!

We went on a little hike around the castle and it was ridiculously beautiful.
We stumbled upon this little waterfall and decided to go for a swim. It was seriously the coldest water that I have been in in my life.
After lunch and walking around the little town, we walked to the lake, which again was GORGEOUS.
We stuck our feet in and played with the fish a little.

On the way back, we met this German teacher who lived in Fussen (where the castle is). She was a few years older than us and taught English in Munich. We split a train ticket because it was cheaper. She will be important much much later in our story.
